Site Updates

I want to apologize for the lack of site updates for the month of April. The material is forwarded to my webmaster and he then updates my site. Unfortunately, I haven't heard from him and am not sure of the status. Please hang in there. I am trying to get to the bottom of it. For those who have been a member through the month of April, I will extend your membership to make up for the lost month of April.

My favorite time of year...

For the past twenty years or so at Christmas time, I adopt a family who is in need. This year, it was a family of five. The gifts were delivered to them last night. The expressions on the children's faces when they saw all the gifts and the excitement when they were reading the names on each present was priceless. Mom was so appreciative. It made me feel so good to know that I made a difference in their lives. This is truly my favorite time of year!

As for me, I personally don't like to receive presents, but rather prefer giving them to others. My home is decorated, presents wrapped and placed under the tree. Just a few more presents to buy and I'm ready. I can't wait to spend the holiday with family and friends...good company and good food.
Wishing you and your family a very happy holiday!!

Wishing everyone a very happy holiday season! This is the time of year that most of us get extremely tied up in the hussel of daily activities that we don't have time to be be with the ones we love and be thankful. We should all take the time because without them, life would be meaningless. At least I know that is true for me. I made time again this year to travel to visit family and friends for the Thanksgiving holiday and had an absolutely wonderful time. It might actually become a yearly tradition. Who knows. :)

I took a little time off from training over the holiday, but am back on track today. I'll be training arms later this afternoon and looking forward to it. I feel so lost when I'm not training. That's sick, huh? Oh well, do what you enjoy and enjoy what you do.

Happy Halloween

Just finished doing 30 minutes of cardio. Now, it's bath time for the pups. I am so not looking forward it to though. I always seem to be the one who gets the wettest. One just loves the water. No trouble at all. But, the other hides, shakes and absolutely refuses. I litterally have to carry his 85 lb squirming body. It's not an easy task especially since he has really long limbs and holds on to the door jam. I tried to take a video and pics in the past. I'll try again. It's actually pretty funny.

Then I need to get myself cleaned off and head out to the gym for some weights... arm day. My favorite! Can't wait to feel the muscle pump. That sensation of having your muscles worked out to the point of almost bursting. Love it!

As you all know, I love football!!!! Help me cheer on the Chargers today. Hopefully they'll play better than they have been and win today. Maybe?!?! Their winning/losing ratio isn't that great. :(

Well, that's my day. Have to start moving. Need to get everything done so I can watch some football and wait for the trick or treaters to stop by.
Happy Halloween!

Thank you...

Thank you to my family, friends, and acquaintences for all the support. I especially want to thank the most important person in my life, the love of my life. Without your love, encouragement, support and understanding I wouldn't be able to make it happen. You've been by my side from day one...day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year (many years). I truly wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for you. I love you with all my heart.

I also want to say thank you to a friend whose help, guidance, encouragement and understanding have also made a difference in my life. You commit to something and you stick to it. I guess you can say that you're a good teacher and I'm a good student.

Nationals came and went. I placed third at Nationals. Of course first would have been terrific, but I'll take third. All that prep time for a short amount of stage time. Offseason prep and dieting for 16-20 weeks. Oh well, it's what I love. :) I've been doing it for so long, it's part of who I am.

Taking time off after a competition is good to destress, but I get antsy and can't sit still. I'm back at the gym training and it sure feels great. Getting myself ready for the next competition...both mentally and physically.

Have a very safe and happy halloween!

Hey!

First I want to apologize for not keeping you updated more frequently. I've been working full-time and prepping for Nationals. It's been taking up a lot of my time, but all is good. No complaints. I'm really liking the thicker, fuller me. Been working on lagging parts all year long and I think I've accomplished what I set out to do. Hope you like it.

I'll be in Las Vegas for the Olympia weekend. If you happen to see me strolling around, please say hi. :)

Take care,
Tina
